The Norwegian Seafarers Union commissioned a survey into bullying, harassment and sexual harassment in the maritime industry after two women came forward and told their stories about the fishing industry. It is the first of it's kind by a trade union in Norway.
The results are interesting and worrying.

The Norwegian Seafarers Union is now working with the Norwegian government and maritime authorities to put a plan in place to deal with this. We will report more on this as it happens.
