CBAs contain the rules and regulations of your working life on board. It explains how many hours you should work, how many you should rest, how much maternity leave you are entitled to, what happens if you get sick and lots more. These agreements are negotiated between the company and the union every few years. They include changes in international law, any increase to benefits or pay and any other updates.
