Singapore vaccinates 10,000 seafarers as keyworkers

One of the first countries to implement keyworker status for seafarers

NSU is very pleased to note that Singapore has become one of the first countries to recognise seafarers as keyworkers. As a result, the government has started with its plan to vaccinate 10,000 seafarers.

This is something NSU has been pushing for through its work at ITF and ILO. We now look forward to other governments doing the same, making seafarers safe and allowing them to do their very important work in keeping the world moving.
